Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So if the internet wasnt developed, would your life have panned out in a different way by now? Is there so much significance in your life that the internet has changed the way you live and learn amongst other things?

I cant imagine what life would be without the internet, probably because I work in an internet cafe. I wouldnt have a job without the internet, so it impacts on me big time

I'd probably just be bored out of my tits most of the time and end up becoming a serial killer just to have something to do.

I've always wanted to blow up the internet. If it wasn't there i wouldn't need to use it. It would be fantastic

My life would probably be a lot more productive, i'd be more sociable and I wouldn't have messed up vision from sitting in front of a screen for so long for so many years.

    But it's just so addictive!

    Yes.

Well the internet hasn't changed my life becuase I'm so young as to be considered to have grown up with it. It's certainly shaped my life ridiculously though, I couldn't imagine what I'd be like had the internet not been invented. Cool probably. :o

If there was no internet I'd still be using Womans Way for a Fap.

If there was no Internet I wouldn't be up at half past three in the morning. I wouldn't get up at Half twelve tomorrow and have half my day gone.

I'd be a far more productive person.

I would use the stars as a form of communication to fabricate a nebulosity supercomputer and wire up the entire galaxy at the mere occurrence of a flatulence which would ignite the whole system.

It would be so powerful that even tin foil could be used as a screen.

How could you say such a horrible thing?!?! No internet.
Its bad enough I have to go back home to my internet free home for the summer

I'm off to Afghanistan next week. I expect to be forcibly removed from the Internet for a while.

I have prepared and steeled myself for this impending disaster.

I didnt grow up with the internet. I was around just before the days of mobile phones and the internet so can easily say that life was more "outdoorsy" in the early 90's.

Although the internet did exist then and people did have mobile phones they were not commerical. Even in the likes of 96-99 companies still did not have websites and if they had them they were mediocre.

I still remember Ebay when there was no credit card needed. You could just bid and bid and bid. It used to really p*ss off sellers.

Only this morning I saw something on the roads I figured the world needed to know about, found an area of houses I know to have a badly secured network, accessed it, came on here and told people about it. - Google Street Car in the middle of nowhere BTW.

    How sad!

I'd get more work done and read more books. Nah, I'd just waste my essence on a Playstation instead.

I'd be jobless and free from it's tyranny. I know for a fact it's actively stopping me from turning into a Chinaman.

It would make things like college research harder, but I never really used it for fun stuff that much until the last couple of years. I could definitely cope without it. Then again I remember a time when only a few rich families had a computer, it wasn't a case of having one in every home.

Probably be without a job, so yeah it would be very different.
