    Hi

Anyone know the DC output (volts and amps) of the Garmin Nuvi A/C chargers (home chargers).

Have a charger for my blackberry that also uses mini USB and if possible would like to use this to charge my Garmin 265W. Output from the blackberry charger is 5.0V 0.5A.

    Cheers

USB, full size, mini and micro are a standard.

If it fits it will work.

    Not quite.

Some USB cables are picked up by the Garmin as data cables even if you're running power through them.

As with all things, check out the volts, amps, etc., but my BlackBerry charger works fine on my Garmin nuvi (and vice-versa).
