is it possible the get a surgue protection device connected directly into my board in the house rather than having to buy one for my tv,computer etc...

last time i checked with tech support .they say fit both for external and internally generated surges

This site is perfect for checking all surge protection, for home, data, telecoms and they have a new product coming out that is a stand alone unit very simple to conect if you just want to protect indiviual sockets/circuts up to 16 amps.
