Hi Folks

The local authority that I work in as recently announced an Incentivized Career Break Scheme in order to try to reduce a payroll bill. Basically if you go away for 3 years you get paid some of your wages. Shorter term breaks are also available.

I have travelled a lot around South East Asia and absolutely loveed it. But if I was staying for a few months I would like to organize something to do rather than just a very long holiday.

I have found a few sites offering some volunteer opportunities in the area but I wondering if anybody has any firsthand experience. All/any info is welcome.
