I'm trying to look for a replacement for mine ('98) as the indicator control is banjaxed (it only indicates when it feels like it or if I hit it). The two stalks, flasher and hazard light control are all the one part.

The main problem is the sticker with the part number on mine is mostly illegible: I think it says 96FG[?]335[something]5[maybe something here too] - anyone know what it could be? Does it need to be the same part exactly? There's loads on eBay, but I haven't seen any beginning with 96 (I believe that's the year they started making that part?). I see the late Mk. 3 Fiestas, Ka and Escorts from around then had the same stalks - will any of these work or does it need to be a specific part? I know some of the Escort ones have no rear wiper or 6-speed wiper control which are no use to me, but is there anything to watch out for beyond that?

Are there any other places I can look for this part? Main stealers were looking for €150!

Got some from an Escort on eBay for £10 (95AG 11K665 CA), unfortunately they're not as compatible as I thought. It fit and everything, indicators, headlights and horn worked, just the wiper controls didn't work - the front and rear wipers would either stay on or the fuse would blow! :pac: The one less pin on the connector socket might explain that...

Anyone know which part numbers I should be looking for?
