    In a world of unparralled turbulence we depend on our media people to ask the right questions and keep Jhonny Politician an an other liggers in their place.

    We have been shamefully served by our print an TV / Radio media with the honourable exception of Shane Ross an maybe George Lee.

    The rest ?

    Who are your media stars and what questions should they be asking ??

    Print media is there to make a profit, reporting the news comes second. No newspaper is going to print a story that will lose them a sponsor.

    OP: In fairness to Eamon Gilmore and yer wan Burton, they have been slamming the banks, FF et al solid for the past few months and still are. But people don't really care anymore. In fact, you hear people telling them to shut up now etc etc (on boards quite often.)

    As for the papers and media stars etc. They did their best but to no avail. No top bankers have suffered from this recession and none probably will. It was all in vain tbh. I blame the man!

    Some top bankers have suffered - but not enough.

    The question which baffles me is - How do guys who ran their companies into the ground and raped shareholder funds - get MASSIVE bonuses and pensions which are an obscene multiple of the avg industrial wage.

    And their companies are bailed out at tax payer risk ?

    Ok I'll cut to the chase - the impaired loans held by Employees / Directors at Anglo.?

    What will happen to these Gimps - will the loans be written off and the lads be still in their big houses and cars or...or..what ?

    How can they - as reported - put their personal wealth "outside the scope of this investigation" ?

    And the main point - who can John q Taxpayer depend on to ask questions and follow up on this ??

    Media stars! Sorry, I have a life - and don't have the time to glorify "media stars".
