Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi i recently bought a new Toshiba laptop with 2GB RAM. Its really fast but when i run Windows Media Player everythings slow down and becomes less responsive especially Firefox when i click on something like a link or even the minimise button it stops for a few seconds and works again for about 10 seconds then stops and on and on. I've uninstalled most of the programs and all the advertising crap that came with, disabled all start up programs and used CCleaner a few times but its still not fixed. Maybe i should reinstall Vista? Any ideas? cheers.

Try using a media playing software such as vlc player or winamp and see if you have the same problems.

I had the exact same problem and I found that the problem was AVG.

You may not have it, but if you do then try uninstalling it. If that works then switch to Avira :) Pretty much the same but it is really light on resources!
