Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I am looking at purchasing a car stereo and am wondering if anyone has this stereo and if so, what they think of it?

    It is a Goodmans gce7356mp3.

    Cheers,
    Dan.

any Goodmans stuff I've ever encountered has been poor. they're pretty much Argos specials.

An MP3 CD player by a name like Sony or JVC isn't exactly expensive these days,. Halfords often do specials on them.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

What he said. My car had a Goodmans CD player in it when I bought it. Poor sound quality. I bought a Pioneer in Argos for €125 and the sound quality is very good. If you really can't afford that kinda money, I'd bet a Lidl / Aldi one would be better than a Goodmans in the €50 price bracket. Or try buy and sell or adverts.ie for a second hand one.
