Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I saw no serious or foul abuse in it. Has the new director of the equality group got to boards.ie ?

    I do seriously hope that any thread about scangers, scum bags, thieves and murderers will be locked from now because the vile and abuse in any of those threads is vicous.

    Why should a thread about travellers which was fairly tame be any different ?

    It's more of a serious political issue tbh

    Maybe so, but then why not move the Garda thread to the Garda or legal discussion board ?

    iirc a few members of boards and possibly a moderator or two are settled travellers.

    Posts were deleted on that thread hence them not being visible to you. We are not here to sit idly by and let sweeping statements be made. Perhaps this is unfamiliar ground to you but AH regulars will be aware of previous traveller threads and the roads they went down and why we are taking this action now. We are also looking at threads re: scumbags / skangers / whatever and the vitriol spewed within. Please feel free to PM for further clarification or if any of you have more questions.
