Another actually talented singer falls victim to those handicaps. I'm more surprised at the judges than the morons who voted for them.

Suffice to say I won't be watching from now on.

I come to this thread a good bit and I have to say it's a very funny read. It is full to the brim with angry fans of one camp or another fighting in verbal battles where they get to choose sides and pick a contestant, its a shame that some forget what the "war" is about.

I'm really surprised that people go on about equity and fairness in this, possibly the best staged event in media, but fail to see that entertainment is the name of the game, not music.

The end result of this competition is not a singing contract, the show itself is the end product, and it is a good deal more entertaining than the previous years offerings. Any artist worth their salt would not put up with this rubbish to get a contract, the contestants just want to have their 15 minutes and if they get some money as a side along with that fame they will take it.

Many say that it is staged, I say you are correct.
Many say that John and Edward cannot sing, I say you are correct.
Many say that Simon makes decisions based on rating, I say you are correct.
I also say, that prehaps you might be inclined to say that the sky is blue and that water is wet, I would agree, but we can't change it.

Often when being entertained we must suspend our disbelief in the medium, so that the actors on the stage can truly be perceived in the moment, this is the case with the x-factor.

I know that the judges, the contestants, the presenters, the trainers and the production crew are pulling strings and pressing buttons, to unfold the drama, but I'm not sure where the story is going, who will win, what "shocking" events will occur next week, what stories will the papers create or discover. I don't know but it will be fun to find out.

As for the competition, I couldn't give a rats ass who wins, as long as the real product, the show, remains fun, engaging and entertaining.

Many say that they will not watch again, I say, see you next week.

I would rather some interesting fun 'handicaps' than another bland, run of the mill mediocre female vocalist. You just fancied her, didnt you? :p

Personally I am extremely happy I never have to hear that horrible note she kept hitting. Sent shivers down my spine. Not good ones. Yuck.

Why when Louis was boosting that JLS are now no. 1 in the single charts did he also plug Cheryl being No. 1 in the album charts - is Louis and Simon contracted legally to mention Cheryl's merits constantly

Surely what's winning Jedward the votes is the little in-between clips of them talking/doing appearances/rehearsing.

    "Oh mai gawd....where's John???....distracted as usual..."

What age and gender are you if you don't mind me asking? :p I'm 22 and male, I just couldn't take anyone seriously within the same bracket as me if they said they would buy Jedward concert tickets, merchandise, songs etc etc.

I'm 22 and male and straight and I'd love to go see a Jedward concert... They're feckin' hilarious. And I don't care who takes me seriously, by the way - but most people do.

I'm 25, and you'll usually find me posting in the Rock & Metal forum. I LOVE Jedward's productions. Quality stuff!

I teach junior infants, and I think maybe the twins ADHD tendencies and innocence reminds me of my own little lunatics. :D

Gosh are you not watching it??In the song it was "save me John!" and afterwards it was "Wheres Edward gone!?":pac:

But personalitys always help in performances, if you like the person you vote. Think they're to big for the boots you dont.

Yea in the song he said, "Save me John" and Edward said, "You're such a baby!"

After the group (?) performance, don't know if you saw it, walking off stage Edward said , "Oh mai gawd....where's John???....distracted as usual..."

Cheryl's not wearing her wedding ring ZOMG!

Does this mean that Simon will finally get his hooks into her and that crazy (sexual) tension will stop?! Stay tuned!

Yea... no she sounds like a goat. I like her song though snd she's got a body to be proud of. No longer soft curvy belly dancer. That woman is ripped! She must have a lot of commitment and stamina. I wish I had :(

Well if she states for the record that she puts her dog(s?) a head of him, it says a lot:

    2w20x2v.jpg

Guess she FINALLY got tired of all his shaggin' other females behind her back maybe?
