    How do they measure the tv ratings? Do they have specific boxes in random homes or can they tell from everyone's Sky/Ntl boxes?

    the company who provides the ratings gives a number of these boxes to a certain number of people - say 5000 and record what they watch and then they extrapolate that info and come up with an estimate. A friend of mine has a box in his house.

    Apparently they were asked but their parents want them to get back to school and get their Leaving done. They've also been reportedly asked to go on Dancing On Ice which I reckon they'd definitely last all of one week - but it would be hilarious!

    Thought so but was just wondering with the advent of the set top boxes from sky and ntl etc that they were able to keep track of what people watch ('Big brother is watching' scenario :eek:)
