deise_girl are they still standing on their correct sides in those photos? I think you're the only one here who can tell them apart!

The guy who stares at the other guy is always edward, right?

  • Moderators, Education Moderators Posts: 7,849 Mod ✭✭✭✭suitcasepink

The second photo is definately Edward on the right, asdasd is correct.
The first I think its Edward on the right again, that head seems rounder. But Edward is normally taller, so unless its the angle :/
But I'd go with it being John on the left both times.

That black and white photo makes them look like the agents from the Matrix film.

    Ah, Jedward, style icons.

Honestly though, they are the type of lads that could get away with
wearing anything; a bit like MJ in his heyday, he had such style about him.

Beckham was a bit like this too. He could pull off any style.

Any theme for this week yet?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 107 ✭✭Emmmooo

Michael Jackson apparently. Was always likely to be one even though they had MJ week last year.

Suppose we can start speculating on who'll sing what now..........

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 22,905 ✭✭✭✭Handsome Bob

    Hmmmmm, I'd say;
Danyl Johnson - Man In the Mirror (if there was ever a song made for him it's this, me thinks that this theme is Cowell's way of making Danyl's progress into the final easy).
    Olly Murs - Bad
    Stacey - Heal The World
    Joe - Ben

This Saturday's X Factor semi-final with have a Michael Jackson theme, say reports.
According to The Sun, the final four acts - Stacey Solomon, Joe McElderry, Olly Murs and Danyl Johnson - will all perform a track from the late singer's back catalogue. They will also sing a song of their own personal choice.
Jackson's sister Janet is performing on the Sunday's results show and is expected to giver her own verdict on the final four acts' performances.
"The Michael Jackson numbers will be huge crowd pleasers - and each contestant will want to do Janet and the Jackson family proud," said a source.

Ummm a song of their own choice, should be interesting. Is that their own choice or their judges own choice ?????

John & Edward for 'The Simpsons'?
Eliminated X Factor twins John and Edward Grimes are reportedly being considered for an appearance on The Simpsons.
According to The Sun, the singing duo could feature as themselves in an episode of the animated sitcom.
A Fox spokesman said: "Castings are not something we can talk publicly about, but we are taking a look at the boys.
"We love anything Irish - we set a whole show there last year. They are certainly charming and good-looking fellows."
Edward said: "We would love to be on The Simpsons. John, Edward and the Simpsons - we're best friends with Bart!"
Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle was namechecked by Homer Simpson in an episode of the Sky1 show earlier this year.
Lol As John and Edward would say, that would be "so cool!"

I actually thought that the final was on the Saturday (12th) and the results would be the same day. Just checked on the tv3 website (tv listings page) and its going to be over two days. Sat 12th Show 7.30-9.30 with Xtra factor on from 10.30-11.30 and Sun 13th Show 7.30-9.30 and Xtra factor straight after at 9.30
I don't like that they're dragging it out over the two days but I guess its extra entertainment so I won't complain too much! :D

  • Moderators, Education Moderators Posts: 7,849 Mod ✭✭✭✭suitcasepink

How will they fill two hours with 2/3 singers?
I think its stretched a bit to much.

Just watching John and Edwards performances again, even though they got timing completely wrong, I discovered Edward actually cant sing and looks like he hasnt a clue whats hes meant to be doing and doesnt know whats going on! awww. His dancing is completely different to Johns and has to keep looking at John to get it right :D But they were so amazing, they really gave the show something extra.
And iswell I've noticed John seems to have a favourable dancemove iswell in a few of the videos, lmao! Grabbing his trousers, in a certain area :P

Olly singing Dirty Diana would be cool.

This is my opinion by the way - I didn't read it anywhere.

And then Joe singing Bad - if he could pull that off he would definitely deserve to win.

    I'd love a bit of this.....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ex30DYwQlHU

Simon Cowell has reportedly picked Hannah Montana number 'The Climb' as this year's X Factor winner's song.

According to The Sun, the final four contestants started rehearsing their own versions of the track on Tuesday after Cowell made his final decision.

It is thought that Joe McElderry and Stacey Solomon put in impressive performances on the day, while Danyl Johnson and Olly Murs struggled with the ballad.

A source said: "It's a very girly song so Olly and Danyl weren't that great at it."

'The Climb', performed by Miley Cyrus in Hannah Montana: The Movie, was first tipped as the X Factor release last week. Journey's 1981 hit 'Don't Stop Believin' had also been named as a potential choice.

Whatever happened to the days where people would wait years to cover songs?
