or they knew people didn't rate them vocally to begin with and wouldn't be voting for them on their vocal merits, so the stage show they'd put on was all that would save them.

I don't mind Jedward, if you look back through posts (and with this many on X Factor at this point i do not expect you to) you would see I placed Jedward outside of the final two on a few occasions (Ghost Busters and Wham Rap at least) but I wasn't placing them their cause of their vocal performances, but because of the performance and how much fun it was to watch them.

If they had not been putting on shows like that (Britney one for instance) they would have been voted out very quickly because, imo, there was no justification to vote for them on their vocal ability.

The show is more boring without them - but the singing quality has not decreased for their loss.
