Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Windows XP System Restore

I did a system restore of my PC. When it is all done and XP loads up for "first use", so that I can set up personal preferences, such as time zones etc, the screen goes 95% white and I cannot continue. I have tried the restore again, but still get stuck at this point. Does anyone know how I can sort this out? I do not have an XP cd, just my recovery disks, which I used for the restore. Can I get XP to bypass this set-up so that it won't get stuck at the start of it? I have tried all types of key combinations of the screen, but only F1 (Help) works, but it has no functionality.

Restart the computer and when you hear the beep or just before windows starts loading press F8 (thats what it was on my computer, press it quickly in succession as its a very small windown you have to press it).
This will bring up the advanced startup options.
There are a number of options here like starting in safe-mode, start in safe mode with command prompt, or restore last known configuration that works.

Try these, they might help you solve your problem.
