I'm thinking of putting a small pond in the garden. This would need a pump and maybe some lights would be nice too.
Anyway initially just thinking of getting something like a twin outdoor socket put in so I can plug in an outdoor pump and lights when ready.

We currently have outdoor lights embedded into a deck and just wondering of its feasible to take a spur from this circuit for the sockets?

At the moment just trying to get an idea of cost and effort for doing something like this.

    Appreciate any help.

prob not .you might need a 4-core with lights switched through photocell and all protected by rcd/rcbo.rcbo preferably

Effort's not major, as Dave said tho ya'd wanna run a 4 core 2.5 SWA out to an IP rated junction box, from that then split your lives, one for lights & one for your pump, the lights run tru a Photocell, have em comming on at dusk, off at dawn & the pump fed from an IP rated isolator, better than a spur because you'll prob have wet hands when cleaning the pond/pump!

timer+photocell is a good arrangement-fully automated .with the 4-core and rcbo
