    hi All

Looking into buying some cylinders for paintball. was just looking at this site

I read they need to be tested every 5 years, is this Hydro testing?

Do they also need to be visually inspected and how often?

Where can I get cylinders tested and for how much?

Is there anywhere in/near Waterford city or Dungarvan that will refill cylinders?

sorry about all the Q's.... just trying to get every thing clear so theres no hidden surprises if/when we buy cylinders

    Thanks

Just had a quick look at IDEST. It says they are an "independent body"
What does that mean...? surely there is an EU standard for testing cylinders. IDEST seems to be only concerned with diving cylinders or am I wrong?

Surely steel cylinders for gas storage regardless of use will be tested to the same standards??

I regularly fill cylinders that are used for decanting to air guns/paintball etc.

IDEST standards have been adopted here so that inspection centres will have a common approach to cylinder testing.
