Stag Night accomodation in Galway - August bank holiday!

    Hi there,


    Looking for relatively cheap accomodation for around 20 for a stag weekend on the August bank holiday weekend. Obviously this clashes with the end of the Galway races. Does anyone have any recommendations?

    Busiest weekend of the year, race crowd, hotels putting up prices, good luck finding anything reasonably priced!

    I stayed in the Galway Arms during Volvo race weekend. It was really inexpensive, clean with a lovely breakfast the next morning. Liked it so much staying there again at the end of the month.

    Used to stay in Jurys Inn and thats very reasonable as well

    Most places will roughly double their prices between now and then. Also try and book somewhere now as everywhere in Galway books up quickly for the races. We have been booked out since just after christmas for it.
