Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Advanced photography evening course

    Hi all,

So I'm into photography since a number of years, and would be willing to learn some more advanced techniques and would love to have a course given by a really talented photographer.

I shoot digital. Was looking into this course: http://galleryofphotography.ie/courses/creative.html but it does seem a bit basic and I'm not really interested to learn again about aperture and shutter speeds...

Of course I don't really know how to classify myself, advanced is very subjective :) You can have a look at my flickr account to get an idea: http://flickr.com/fanz

    Any advice for me?

    Thanks!!

Just meet up with some talented photographers here on boards for free, and you'll certainly learn a lot. keep an eye on http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=1066

Other than that, I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for - landscape photography, portrait photography, sport photography, wedding photography?

    Thanks for the advice :)

I'm mainly into travel photography, so that requires a set of different skills: landscape, portrait, architecture. And I'd just like to get a fresh perspective on all this as I never took any class.

But I'm not interested in studio work for example.
