Great cars, but a bit heavy on fuel. Have you a link to the ad?

No, sorry, it's one I seen searching through cars for sale.

From what you've said it sounds interesting. It is 12 years old though, so everything depends on how it's been cared for. We'd really need a link to the ad to give any advice on a particular car.

You open the page the ad is on, cut the url from the address bar at the top (http:/www.....) and paste it into your post here. Or if you want you could just post the site selling the car.

    thanks guys.

Saw a few diff ads on the boards site, so waiting to see if they still for sale. Now I'm gonna start going through all the other links the guys gave me on other post, estate, opel astra. I like them, not too big. Ideally would love older 4x4 if cheap enough. the search begins. Looks like it going to take all day !

    Here's a link to that car: http://www.carlist.ie/vehicles/view/160955-subaru-forester-kildare?r=/vehicles/134,903,1172/*/*/*/flat/

It's a Jap import st/b, so more powerful than our S turbo - I think the st/b has 210 or so bhp. The only pic was taken when the car was imported, and doesn't tell us much. It's very definitely a performance estate, though. To be honest, if you're happy with the running costs of something like that then you might as well look at Cionad's 850 T5 estate too.
