Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

Is it possible to get breakdown coverage in France for a period of a couple of weeks while on holidays ?. I don't have any breakdown coverage here in Ireland .

    Thanks
    Tim

Check if your insurer provides it (you should let them know that you are travelling anyway).
    Try www.aaireland.com

Check out Blue Insurance. You will get full annual breakdown cover incl Europe for less than the AA quote.

You might also try with the ferry company your going with. They usually have a section offering insurance. Even as an AA member I found the ferries offer cheaper than the AA. Take the time to read the small print. What is in what is out. Will they replace your car if it cannot be fixed? Bring it home for you? all that sort of stuff.
