Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

They've put on the wrong movie, Rocky was supposed to start at 9 but they have accidently put some other crap movie on. Someone ring them up and tell them to change it.

is it bad that I had to check IMDB just to make sure jason statham isn't in Rocky Balboa.....

The Transporter was better than Balboa, lets be fair.

Crank would have been best though.

You're right. Crap implies it has some kind of substance to it - a reason for existing. It's sub-crap.

Its a disgrace, they advertised it so heavily with all this trap about "Irish television premiere" then show this boring crap  I hope they get sued or at least heavily fined.

    Your phone must be broken.

Quick, everybody - except Shamblertine - over to my place for a Rocky-fest.

Shamblertine, "The Bus that Couldn't Slow Down" is starting on RTE 1. I guess that'll have to do you.

Fans of curb your enthusiasm will know what I meant by that. But no I don't wanna call them myself, I don't like complaining, I don't like to cause any bother or anything so I just accept things as they are. But I'm sure some people here wouldn't mind complaining for me.

I'm going with everyone else here really..

The Transporter is a far far better film than Rocky Balboa

Come on! Jason whatever his name doing kong fu moves? That might impress me if I was 7. I'd rather see a 60 year old man pump himself full of steriods and pretend to be a boxer.

But then I have to pay for it, and I hate paying for things!

My gripe is they advertised a move (quite heavily) then didn't show it. They have to be fined for this. Whats the tv regulators email address?

We will have to charge you for that sort of information - since you won't pay to hire a movie, can't see you paying us for an email address....

Pop quiz hotshot ... Dennis Hopper really is a bad actor. I mean, in a film which includes Keanu Reeves, and yet Keanu Reeves is not the worst actor in it, well ... you really have to question that.

complaining to tv3 would be pointless anyway, all I'd get back is "we appreciate your feedback.......looking into matter........blah blah wah." I'll be issuing a formal complaint to the tv regulator (if we have one, which we probably don't)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,287 ✭✭✭davyjose
