    Lower-Tier
    1. League 1 Fifth Place vs League 2 Sixth Place
    2. League 2 Fifth Place vs League 1 Sixth Place
    3. League 3 Fifth Place vs League 4 Sixth Place
    4. League 4 Fifth Place vs League 3 Sixth Place

The winners of the above matches play each other in the semi-finals, home advantage decided again by margin of victory in quarter final. Similarly, the winners of the two semi finals play each other in the final, again home advantage depending upon the margin of victory in the semi final.

    A request:

Can someone think up names for the three seperate play-off competitions, something witty or original if possible.

Also, we need to discuss as to whether or not we have WNWIM agreement, if we swear to play every game from start to finish on the same intensity, 'with next week in mind', or if the intensity level is simply a choice for the manager.

Finally, I'll put up the fixtures when I get a chance, probably tomorrow.

Any problems, questions, suggestions, please post. ;)

    Like the format.

Not very original or witty but how about the Cup, Plate and Bowl like in the Sevens.

I think that this should definitely be a WNWIM competition.

At the very least for all the group games, maybe then the playoffs can be at managers discretion.

Just a thought, what happens if a manager stops playing the game mid-season ? After-all, friendlies cant be fixed without one manager requesting and the other manager accepting.
I think that we need to have a rule put in place to determine what happens just in case. Bonus points and points scored difference being crucial.

In relation to the comp names, how about

    (1) The Boards.ie Champions Cup

    (2) The Almost There Award

    (3) The Try Harder Trophy

Anyway lads, well done so far. Looking forward to seeing the website !!

If a manager fails to accept a friendly the game goes to the opposing team with full points including bonus points.

I am all for everyone playing WNWIM.

Well done lads on getting things this far and cant wait to see the website!

Regarding fixtures, there is a particular system in place for competitions, as best as I can tell you accept them all en masse at the start of the competition. Either way, you don't need to accept/send them one by one throughout the season.

I like your titles jprender. ;)

Not for another few weeks, so I wouldn't worry about it yet. PMs will be sent out beforehand anyway.

Could someone who is very very good at Maths tell me if its actually possible to fairly organise a 7 team group fixture wise?

    Hi all,

just to let everyone know that my team name has been changed to 'The Cantankerous Gnomes'. Just if someone is looking to organise a match they know where to look.

Seriously looking forward to this cup. Some of those fixtures look interesting indeed!!

Its put into the system, and you agree to all fixtures en masse on a seperate new page in the 'Friendlies' section.

No word from Chup on the website, so I went ahead and started it myself.
Things should start moving much faster now.
