Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Aldo have a portable dvd player for 59.99 in stock today. Comes with a battery and all.

Seems like a great price. Anyone any ideas on whether this is any good?

Tevion all right and it’s a great little piece of kit.

Have 3 in the house for the little ones, comes in handy for the car\plane\holidays etc. Had no problems with any of them so far and have them well over a year.

Bought one this morning they were flying out the door, Aldi Maynooth sold at least 5 in the 2 minutes I was in the store buying my one.

Has been able to play every format I've thrown at it so far. I'm very happy with it.

Comes with a fully featured remote, dual headphone jacks (simple but very useful feature) picture and sound quality are fine, a hell of a lot of electronics for €60

Cheers OP, just bought one in Tullamore. It seems to be the dogs bollox!

Perfect timing too.The screen on the youngfellas old one (Goodmans) went all white last week (although the sound is fine)and I was in the market for a new one anyway. Ta for heads up:D

We picked one up this morning. Great quality screen and plugged in a 16GB usb flash drive in and it played XVID MPEG-4 for starters. Need to throw a few more formats at it but MPEG-4 will do anyway. The sound is not that good but probably to be expected as most would use head phones with it and it has two sockets anyway.

My one was region free straight out of the box too, I have a huge collection of region 1 dvd's so that was an added bonus all for €60 great deal.
