Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Recommend a good diesel

    Hi there

    My Dads hoping to buy an 08 or 09 diesel, trading in an 05 Vectra Saloon 1.6.

    Looking to spend around 15k along with the trade in.

    Not hugely fussy whether it's a saloon, MPV, estate or SUV.

    Have looked at various types fron Grand Vitara to Mazda 6 to X-Trail.

    Any body have any recommendations in or around that price?
    I'm assuming the trade-in value won't be too flattering!

    We also looked at bringing in a Passat or A4 or something from up north or the UK but I think it would be almost impossible to sell the Vectra privately here?

    I would check out how much a 2008 passat 2.0tdi would cost from the uk, check vrt etc also. Then see how much you would need to get for the vectra.
