Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Generally- your own insurance company are obliged to quote for you- but no other insurance company are obliged to do so, when you have been in an accident.

I would query the claim with an accessor- as if an accident is not considered to be your fault by your insurance company- normally it has no impact whatsoever on your no claims bonus (you are claiming off the other party's policy instead). If your no claims bonus is gone- it means you were considered to be at least partially at fault for the accident. If this is not the case- query it.

Ps- what many people do is set an excess at a reasonably high level (say 1000) and their policy is only affected over this excess. You'd be surprised at how much repair work and repainting can be done for 1k by a competent mechanic.........
