2 sausages, 2 eggs with runny yolks, two slices of hot buttery toast, some potato product like 2 hash browns, or loads of sautéd potatoes (that are actually deep fried cubes of potato), beans wouldn't go astray, plenty of good quality black pudding, a fried tomato and a cup of tea.

    bang on the money.

3 sussages from "The Pork Shop" in Athlone, fried.
3 dry cured back rashers, grilled untill crispy.
2 pieces of Black Pudding from "The Pork Shop" in Athlone, fried.
2 Pieces of White Pudding from "The Pork Shop" in Athlone, Fried.
    2 Eggs, fried, runny.
Loads of mushrooms, quatered and fried in butter in a separate pan.
3 slices of toasted batch bread, loads of butter.
    Massive mugg of tea.

Beans are an optional extra for the weirdos.

After eating that I;d be full for a day and a half, or 5 hours if hungover.

    Hmmm

If I wanted to go all-out, I would have:

Lots of fresh orange juice, maybe grapefruit juice if I needed that sharp kick

    French toast
    Mushrooms
    Black pudding
    scrambled egg
    2 grilled rashers
1-2 grilled sausages, preferably those Superquinn/M&S herby ones. Or else Denny's :-)

accompanied by some rich, aromatic coffee, dash of milk and a sugar in front of De Telly.

Hi - sorry for going slightly off topic here.

Whats the best black pudding in your opinion.

I used to like the Clonakilty one, but I'm kinda gone off it for some reason.

I've tried other brands that come highly recommended here in Kerry, Ashe's is the only name that I can remember, but none have really impressed me - yet.

    All suggestions appreciated.

Two poached free-range organic eggs - perfectly done, whites set but yolks hot and runny. (All the better if they're from a chicken you know personally, laid that day.) Two thick slices of white sourdough bread, toasted and buttered (real butter, no spread thanks). Sit eggs on toast. Add two good pork chipolata sausages, skinny and meaty preferred. Two slices of streaky bacon, quite thick cut so it's still chewy. Two pieces each of whatever black or white pudding is available (beggars can't be choosers - I find it hard to get here so would settle for nearly anything). A grilled tomato.

Since I can't get decent pig products here, it's usually two excellent eggs, with the fresh sourdough, toasted, a couple of slices of second-rate bacon and a grilled tomato.

4 grilled sausages (superquinn or butchers)
2 crispy bits of bacon (i dont say rashers)
2 eggs with hot runny yokes (not too fussed on eating the white bit if I do it has to be crispy)
Few slices of nice white pudding (black pudding stinks)
Either a nice hash brown or a nice slice of potato bread
    Dollop of chef red sauce

Couple of slices of buttery toast (not too well toasted so you can wrap it around a sausage or two)

Cup of tea (not usually a fan but its your only man with a fry)

Gonna have to knock one of these babies up now this weekend!
