    Greetings!

I'm arriving at dublin airport tomorow and i need to go to donegal,
As i arranged this extremly last minute, i didnt have much time to find how to get to donegal from dublin,
I do know that there are busses(?) and/or trains going there (plane is out of question)

But where and when do these busses or trains leave?

I'll be arriving at Dublin airport tomorow (19/06) at 10:30 local time.

Would really appreciate to get a fast response!

    Thanks in advance

    Ah that kinda sucks,
You dont happen to know how many busses an hour there are? i dont really have to know a specific hour, just want to know how long i'd have to wait in dublin to catch the bus

why not fly,Aer Arann RE 207 (11.40) will get you to Donegal in 45 mins

Otherwise Dublin Letterkenny Route 32 service serves Dublin airport and goes to Donegal

Hmm, i only found very expensive flights from dublin to donegal (http://www.cheapflights.co.uk/flights/Dublin/Donegal/)

*edit* Ah that was easy, Yeah would cost me 52€ According to this website, reckon i could still buy a cheap ticket at the airport tomorow?

When you say Donegal do you mean Donegal Town or Co Donegal in general?

As has been said, some of the Letterkenny services go via the airport.

Downings 40 km north of Letterkenny, about 60km from Donegal Airport.
Letterkenny bus might be your best bet

i don't live that far from there.

Bus eireann doesn't go to Downings- but it will take u to letterkenny. and then u mite have to wait a couple of hours for a connection to downings.

So I would advise you to get John McGinley- its the quickest . It will take you as far as creeslough- and you can get a taxi from Creeslough to Downings.

Ring neil's taxi 0862678814 to take you to downings from Creeslough.

Ring him in the afternoon as there are barely any taxis as its pretty rural- to make sure he can take you over if not ask him for anohter taxi number
