Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The oul Micra seems to need the CV joint done on the left, when I turn the wheel all the way to the right it click click clicks! How much about would this cost? Never gotten it done before.

And if I leave it a month or two, will it do any serious damage?

my a3 needs one done too.... apparently parts are only about €30 for it ( i cant imagine itd be much diff ) but it does take an hour or two to do i think so labour 'd be the most expensive job unless you know someone who knows someone i suppose !!!

Around 80 euro for a cv joint, and around an hour to fit:)

If your CV joint breaks your car is going nowhere. I have broken 3 CV Joints in my time due to excessive driving of company vehicles.

Trust me, get it fixed ASAP. If it goes like it did for me on St Stephens Day 100 miles from home with no garages, no tow companies and nobody sober to collect me then you will curse not getting it done NOW.

Outer CV joints are cheaper than inner CV joints if I remember correctly. Any mechanic should be able to fix this.

Cool, I text a mechanic I know there and he said 80 quid labour, so probably about a hundred quid, just wanted to get a ballpark figure before I asked, I'll get it done soon so! Thanks for the advice
