Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Here are a few I took of my cat the other night with my nifty fifty... I still consider myself a beginner... so be kind but I'd still love to here what you think.

This is probably a bit soft...

I love them as cat pics ... but they all seem slightly out of focus or am I just tired ?

Taken with a nifty fifty so yeah I think they are a bit soft... as in only a small part of each photo is in focus...

Ah apologies ... :o I had to go look that up just now

    came across http://www.photoaficionado.com/galleries/50mm_niftyfifty/index.html

While I realised originally its not all meant to be in focus your shots just don't seem to have a key enough feature in focus for me

In the examples there I found its either extreme close up ... or very small object thats the focus of attention hmm..

( as you may have realised .. I've no idea what I'm talking about I just know what I like at the end of the day )

Might add the first one works best for me

There's no eye contact in any of the photos, no sense of connection.

    1. I like but I find the out of focus ears distracting
    2. I think the cats mouth is center point of the photo but its out of focus.
    3. Really like this one. You can see the eyes and a bit of attitude :)
