Portable Jumpstarter

I bought one of these from Halfords (http://www.halfords.ie/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_11101_catalogId_15551_productId_183849_langId_-1_categoryId_212463) Dynamis Jump starter a few years ago and I've lost the charger for it, can if anyone has one could you let me know the specifications on the charger, i.e. volts/AC/DC and current.

Can't help with your question on the charger, but the big jump start packs we have in work will recharge from a car battery. Hook it up to a (running) car, start the engine and leave for a while - recharges the jumper pack. We rarely use the chargers for them.

Might as well give it a go to see if it works on yours. Ours are more "industrial" than the one in the link (one's for jump starting the 17ton trucks).

Never thought of doing it that way, I'll give it a go, Still wouldn't mind having the charger though, I'm sure the time that I need it the battery in the unit will be flat.
