Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sam & Max Save the World : anyone buy it yet ?

    Main criticisms are slow gameplay, very little action - which is fine by me as I always liked the original Sam and Max for the puzzles and humour, along with Day of the Tentacle, Monkey Island games etc.. Not everything needs to be fast pased action. But there is also criticism about the xbox controller not being suited to this type of point of click game (why couldn't they have made it mouse compatible ?) which could be a serious problem I suppose, and some concerns over on IGN over slowdown and stuttering which is also annoying.

    Anyone think differently ?

    Played demo. It was all right. I have it already for the pc so not sure if I'd get it again. Never played through it, sister did though. Said they were good, funny but not as good as the original. Joypad was a non issue imo.

    Cool. I downloaded the demo and loved it. So bought the lot. Well worth it. Brings back memories and a change from the pace of games today. Thanks.
