Has anyone else seen the planning application for an amusement arcade at the Castlemill shopping area? It's seeking permission to develop the former @homestore across from Dunnes. One wonders what kind of arcade they will operate. Kids merry go-rounds, or maybe adult slot machines? Either way, i think it'll be bad news for…

Thats a relief. It's bad enough with the teenagers hanging around without giving them an incentive.

Can they appeal? or would it be likely they'd apply for another location in the town?

I think it is pretty good news.

There is quite a bit going on in Balbriggan for young people but not all are interested in the youth centre or sports and actively choose to set fire to random stuff on the waste land and sit in fields drinking.
