Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All.

Got an old PC from a former employer (now closed up) running Win 2000 Prof
It was connected to the Server and as such needed a logon password to connect.

I want to install XP on this pc but I cant get past the logon screen as it cant find the original domain.

Is there any way around this problem ???

Done this before but I can't remember the software. Basically I downloaded an ISO file from the internet and booted the PC from the CD. This booted up into a command prompt with commands for resetting the administrator password for the machine.

Once the administrator password was set to blank, the machine could be logged on to.

Someone else might have done this lately and give the name / link to the necessary files.

If you just want to install XP and not keep any of the data when just wipe the drive.

But it you need to backup the data first try this:

Offline NT Password & Registry Editor
