Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

01 Fiesta hard to start and cuts out

    Guys

    01 Fiesta Flight 1.2 zetec, new timing belt fully serviced before bought.

    It is hard to start sometimes and will turn but not start. Took me 5/6 tries to start today going out this evening. Can you still flood a car by trying it too much?What should I do if it won't start immediately Also cuts out in traffic or if parking slowly into a space.

    my 03 was the same, especially 1st thing in the morning. brought it to the ford garage the ran diagnostics, found water getting into the spark plugs. common fault on fiestas, they sealed it up nand working fine now. they also reprogrammed the CPU, dunno if its a coincedence but its much lighter on juice now

    does the little red blinking immobiliser lite go out every time you turn the key to pos 2?
