Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Lads,
Im just wondering if anybody can help me with this one. I just bought a 02 320ci Msport (2.2) last week and the engine management light came on today. I got a few codes out of my diagnostic computer. I got a couple to do with misfires on cyl 3 & 5 and one for the Air-Mass Meter but I got another one that I dunno what it is. Ive asked around but no one seems to know and I done a few searches but came up with nothing. The code was...............

    047. Torque Limitation, Safety Concept, Level 1

It has me baffled and Im wondering if anyone else came across it before. Any help is much appreciated.

    Cheers;)

Torque limitation might relate to the traction control?

What are you using to scan?

Traction control is working fine and had no codes relating to that though. I was using a Carman scan handheld scanner. Thats all I have access to.

I've included the full list of OBDII fault codes that I have (in MS Word docx format) and here are the BMW specific codes. I can't find anything that matches your scan error however.

If you bought it last week surely it must still be under warranty?

automatics have a torque converter and not a clutch... simple to see if im right and for your sake lets hope i am. pop the bonnet and check the level of the fluid same as if you were checking the power steering fluid. if the level is low just top it back up using power steering fluid

    good luck
