grass problem

had the kids pool down on the grass for about two weeks let with a black patch now where i used to have grass whats the best way to fix it will i have to reseed the area or do i simply leave it to fix itself thanks

2 weeks only? The stalks will still be there and will green up in about another week.
I had dead patches from being covered all winter and it has started to grow back already.
