[Req] Broadband Provider Options Ballaghadereen

    Hi All,

    A friend has asked me to investigate the Broadband provider options for his rural dwelling in Ballaghadereen.

    As far as I can tell, his local telephone line is not upgraded to broadband and the area is very poor for mobile reception.

    Unless someone knows something that I don’t, I would think that he can only get broadband through air waves. Can anyone recommend providers in the region who may be able to help him out. (Feel free to PM)

    The only fixed wireless provider in the area is Lastmile, You'd need line of sight (means line of sight, won't work through trees) from Your gable/chimney to one of their access points. Its a fixed install, they cable to Your pc or to a position You're happy with.
