Lightroom equivalent for video clips?

    Hi.

    I use lightroom on a Mac. I have tons of camcorder clips on my AVCHD camcorder which are in a mic of HD and SD formats.

    iMovie is not able to cope with different formats.

    I am very familiar with lightroom.

    Does anyone know of a similar type application for video clips for organising and editing and which deals with HD and SD clips?

    I have adobe production suite but premiere pro doesnt seem to have any organising and importing tools.

    What to do?
