    I was out for a walk along the Royal canal this morning (looking for an odd one out heeee heee) and I saw this fella land on a water lilly ....

    Does anyone know what it is?

    BTW you can give me a vote cos i had to lie flat on the gound and use the bank as a camera steadier. I got a few odd looks I can tell you!

    Thank you very much. I took this photo when I lived in a place called Bregenz in Austria about 3 years ago. That is the sun setting on Lake Constance. The camera was bought in ALDI for about €120. I think the brand was called 'Traveller' and was 8mp. It was really excellent for what I paid but unfortunately it was stolen in a house I was sharing in Galway.

    I never had the heart (or the money) to get a replacement until my girlfriend bought me a new one a few months ago - hence me posting pics here. :)

    "Digital Polaroids" with a bridge Digital camera used in setting up a recent photoshoot, The 'REAL' shots were then taken with my beloved Minolta Autocord. The negs are just developed and will be scanned soon

    Strobist Details, Cactus FLash Left on wide with diffuser direct at face, on right (at times) an ancient National PE FLash pointing at a silver reflector. both sat on top shelves on opposite side of room, Black sheets as backdrop.
