Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The reason that your audio file is empty is probably because Sound Recorder is probably recording from the wrong source. While you want to record what is playing, Sound Recorder may be set up to record from the on board mic port or line-in port.

If you wish to capture audio/video from youtube, then you should download Realplayer Free. The plugin lets you download content from youtube to your desktop. There are also a number of other plugins for viewing your cache files (i.e. where the videos are stored when you watch them), but RealPlayer is the easiest way to go.

For general audio work, chopping/clipping/recording etc etc, I would use free program Audacity http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ It's great.
