Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Who have won the World Cup or European Championships since 1966. Only one per country allowed, and as few players out of position as possible. It's tougher than I thought it would be, but I think this 11 is pretty good tbh.

    GK: Iker Casillas (Euro 08)

    RB: Cafu (WC 02)
    CB: Bobby Moore (WC 66)
    SW: Anton Ondrus (Euro 76)
    CB: Lars Olsen (Euro 92)
    LB: Giacinto Facchetti (Euro 68)

    CM: Theodoros Zagorakis (Euro 04)
    CM: Michel Platini (Euro 84)
    AM: Maradona (WC 86)

    CF: Ruud Guillit (Euro 88)
    CF: Jurgen Klinsmann (Euro 96)

That team against a team of CL winning captains?

GK: Peter Scmeichel (1999, filled in for Keane)

    RB: Carlos Puyol (2006, 2009)
    CB: Danny Blind (1995)
    SW: Matthias Sammer (1997)
    CB: Jorge Costa (2004)
    LB: Paolo Maldini (2003, 2007)

    CM: Didier Deschamps (1993)
    CM: Fernando Redondo (2000)
    CM: Stefan Effenberg (2001)
    AM: Steven Gerrard (2005)

    CF: Gianluca Vialli (1996)

    Who wins that?

the first one. hands down. both teams lack width, but with Cafu and Facchetti they'd create a lot more opportunities.

This is quite tough. Best i could come up with for the World Cup or European Championship one. Decided on a 5-3-2 sweeper formation:

    Klinsmann

    Maradona

    Platini
    Gullit

    Matthaus

    --Fachetti----Cannavaro
    Moore
    Cafu

    Beckenbauer

    Casillas
