found this site i found today...
it is a free & legal site for downloading abandonwares.

abandonwares are games that would no longer make a profit if they were sold, and the companys have let be published free.

I must check your link, what is the definition of 'legal', by the site's standard, or an official declaration by the IP's owner?

A lot of old games are reappraised and dusted off for the Mobile\iPod\iPhone\Retro market now, companies are less reluctant to let their assets go, sadly.

says legal under french law...blah blah..... ( i believe this. most games available in english and french if available no others)

It's totally illegal. Doom and Wolfenstein are not abandonware and most of those games aren't abandonware. In fact abandonware is a word thats usually slapped on to warez sites to make them seem legit like removing roms after 24 hours.
