    anyone kno if cod 4 wil work well on a p4 3.0Ghz with 1gig of ram and a geforce 6200 nvidia ?

    It would probably run, but not very well and it wont look pretty either

    CPU: 2.4 GHz Dual Core or better
    RAM: 1GB for XP and 2GB for Vista
    HD: 8GB Free Space
    GFX: 3.0 Shader Support, Nvidia Geforce 7800, ATI Radeon X1800 or better.

    Minimum requirements:

    No, it will not, not in a playable state anyway. Those 6200 cards are horribly underpowered and not meant for games at all. We have them in a few machines in work and can just run Quake 3 and CS1.6. Note, these machines have Pentium D's and about 2GB's of RAM each.

    Also, I believe the 6200 is only AGP as well. If so, your machine is completely at its end of life in regards to upgrades.

    Get a bog standard desktop DELL on special for €200 (or shop around for a second hand tower, make sure it has PCI-e) sell it's graphics card and purchase a 2nd hand 7800GTX. These are still beasts of a card and will run CoD4 without any issue. You should be able to find one for less than €40
