I've just recieved my results, and am looking to apply for a PhD in the microbial genetic regulation area, and I was wondering if there were only a few windows for funding, or if new positions could be popping up all summer. Anyone know if this is the case?

A lot of funding calls, IRCSET etc, may already be finished for this year. From my experience interested student go looking for supervision during their final year and not after the semester is over.
