ford focus 12v dc power outlet

The 12v dc power outlet on my 08 ford focus style does not power off when I turn off the engine. I guess it is designed to do this but the problem is that I have a bluetooth kit plugged in there and sometimes forget to swich it off when leaving the car. I think most/all Fords are like this. I think your only options would be to get your bluetooth kit wired up somewhere else so it turns off with the ignition, or get some sort of lighter socket adaptor that has a power button (not sure if such a thing exists).
