Let's face it, we all have those little comforts we all enjoy, but would be too embarassed to admit to your friends.

It can be music, food, movies, a TV show, anything.

Mine would have to be Duran Duran.

The basslines are just so f**king cool.

    So?.......care to share any?

OP for music its definitely Duran Duran for me aswell, fricking savage band, but I always tend to keep my music tastes to myself.........:pac:

How could a band that produced such classics as Ordinary World, Wild Boys, Hungry Like The Wolf and A View To A Kill (best James Bond theme ever) be considered a guilty pleasure?

    Duran Duran rock! Period.

Ah now. What about "Live and Let Die"?
Garbage "The World Is Not Enough" was great too.

(Don't even like Bond but some of the Bond themes are awesome!)

Live & Let die is up there with Chris Cornell's 'You Know My Name' from Casino Royale, but neither is as good as Duran's Bond theme.

Guess I might as well post him seeing as no-one gets me or understands me :(

Tubs as a "guilty pleasure" does sound very wrong though :o
But he's such a legend! (he's here instead of the celeb crushes thread for a reason though...so no jokes!:pac:)

    TUBZ

I totally get it! He's amazing!

My friends constantly ridicule me for it...but yeah, you're not alone! :p

I'm guilty of liking Riverside. Particularly this remix.

One of the few shameful pleasures I have though tbh

Big Brother..I hate the fact that I actually like it..:o

Mamma Mia!'s version of Take A Chance On Me just came on shuffle. I let it play the whole way through. :o

Think it's all down to Alan Partridge's awesome medley of Abba songs. :D

I'm going to admit to the pokemon love too. Recently I found my old gameboy game (leaf green to be exact), a whole pile of cards and stickers as well as a tape of the soundtrack to the first movie. For days I felt like I was 5 again!:)

I've actually been tempted to buy one of the new games (HeartGold or SoulSilver) because the first two generations of pokemon were the only ones I actually knew so my LeafGreen was a remake of the original Red/Blue and the new ones are remakes of Gold/Silver.

Basically most of this thread are my guilty pleasures in some way or another: Come Dine with Me, Quizone, Reeling in the Years, all those auction programmes and the ones where they're looking at houses for people.

Soccy: I totallly agree on the whole Ryan Tubridy thing too. <3 Tubbers tbh.:)

Ah now. Don't encourage them. I've already had to confiscate the pokéwalker once.

Nothing to feel guilty about tbh, it's a class song. It's the pause before the 'bop bop americano' bit that makes it.

I can't stick this into celebrity crushes thread without feeling shame but Derek from crystal swing is so cute :pac:

I ran out of milk but I am far too lazy to buy some more, so I am eating dry Crunchy Nut out of a bowl - it tastes so good :o

Not sure if it's a guilty pleasure...But I'll put literally ANYTHING in a sandwich...Like, I'd have a normal dinner, but I'd butter some bread and put it in a sandwich :P I put curry in sandwich, roast dinners, anything that fits really :P

This could just be a weird habit :o
Is there a thread for these? :P

My rich tea and red sauce sandwich beats all tbh in contests for the mankiest sandwich

One night a few years ago while very very bored, I made a sandwich with cheese slices, chocolate chip cookies and crunchy nut cornflakes. I figured since the individual components of the sandwich were tasty, the sandwich as a whole would be tasty.

    It wasn't.

I just saw a video in which Robert Sheehan signs an autograph. He's left-handed like me, I'm ashamed to say this pretty much made my day.
