Exactly, it was an awful year - poor, communist East Germany swallowed up by it's *shudder* democratic neighbour. :( On top of that, they assassinated Ceausescu (sp?) and his wife in '89 aswell.

Not a good year for communism!

    They Beyblade Them Song -_-

    Picking up speed
    Running out of time
    Going head to head
    It's the way of life
    You gotta fall down
    Eat ground
And to get back up again
    Let's Beyblade!

    Spinning it out
    At the speed of sound
    Gotta rip it up
    Now the bet is down
    The team with the bang
Our gang is the one who's gonna win
    Let's Beyblade!
    Beyblade!

    Let's Beyblade!
    Let's Beyblade!
    Beyblade!
    Let it rip

    [/B][/U]
    *cough* yeah i'll just leave

I'm not ashamed of my love for this show one bit. I embrace it if anything.

There are tournaments in Wynn's hotel usually every other Sunday.

Well, on some forums called pojo.biz, usually there is around 300 people looking at the yugioh forums at any one time (worldwide).

That's the alternate to the programs. He makes 5 minute long spoofs of each episode which are hilarious.

But no, don't watch the series, espc how it involves motorbikes.

Yugioh is actually quite big, just not really in Ireland.

Original Japanese ones are actually quite good (Darker than the 4kids translation)

The Abridged Series is possibly one of my favourite things about the internet, nothing has supplied me with laughter so consistently.

Oh dear, not Chocolate Rain! I can't see how people listen to that, even in jest!

One of my guilty pleasures is listening to Lily Allen. I'll be damned if that poppy music doesn't cheer me up when it comes on in Spotify!

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,779 ✭✭✭A Neurotic

I'll never understand why pop music has to be a guilty pleasure.

Its purpose on earth is to be pleasurable!

  • Registered Users Posts: 708 ✭✭✭syncosised

There's just something about Lily Allen that makes me think I shouldn't be listening to her. Being attracted to her isn't a guilty pleasure though! :D

  • Moderators Posts: 8,678 ✭✭✭D4RK ONION

You should be thoroughly and deeply ashamed of yourself! :P

I love that song on RB "Give It All", not usually my thing at all..

I love Cheryl Cole "Fight For This Love" :o And I actually really like her as a person.
Rest of her album is fairly crap though.
