Wow, would never have come across the thread otherwise, thanks for bumping it !
jpb1974, love them all, and KevLongshanks I have been loving all your new stuff.

With early evenings and bad weather toying around is just the thing to spice up those quiet week-ends.

Did these last year on snowed in days/nights :

Thanks everyone... glad you liked them.

They are train set figures... seriously expensive when you consider what you get for your money. Picked them up here:

    http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Classic-Railway-Models/NOCH-FIGURES-SCENICS-/_i.html?_fsub=20&_sid=133930066&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322

    You can get all sorts...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,700 ✭✭✭Mountainsandh

Ouch, they're a bit on the expensive side allright... it's great to be able to pick a theme though, and they're not glittery like the Cinderellas that are being used in my house, or have a yellow helmet like my little man's heroes.
Ah but sure, can come up with a story pic with damsels and firemen too i'm sure ;).

They sell them in Hamleys too. Although I presume they're 3 times the price there.

I'd imagine that being so small they have to be hand painted... so this means time and effort which would be the major contributing factor cost wise.

Meh. Stormtroopers are largely overrated imo, Rex's expression is a lot more interesting*, he could nearly pass for the croc hunter in the last one ;).

This is a fabulous thread, just saw it now. I want a Danbo now! Does anywhere still sell it for the €20 mark. Ebay seems to return $60+ results only. :(

I'll just have to have a root through my toys. :D

    EDIT: IT is plastic right?

If anyone bought a danbo and doesn't want it, I'd be willing to buy it off them for a reasonable price. PM me if interested.
