Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Your not going to be able to tax a Transit as a private vehicle. AFAIK, its 288e to tax, and thats a commercial rate.

Unknown to most, but you can tax a commercial vehicle privately. A new customer demands this as he had to spend a day in court after one of his (van) drivers was stopped while using the vehicle for personal use. All of their 100+ commercial fleet is now taxed privately.

It's based on the old engine size rating for vans (as no CO2 emissions are published). Recently had to get the cost for an 09 van and the tax office won't give any information without a reg number.

AYe, i knew it could be done, i camr accross a few X Trail commercials taxed as private vehicles there the other day only. I figured that if you tried to do it now however, the tax office wouldnt be impressed.

Where does that leave you with DOE's and NCT's then? Which apply?

Damned if I know, and that's someone else's department - I only look after them when they are new :D
