Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Probably to do with currency fluctuations

might have something to do with the devaluation of Sterling, after all, lots of Fords and Ford parts are made outside the UK

Strange timing as sterling has gained about 10% on the euro from its peak drop about 6 months ago.

Pricing isn't real time, as there are long term contracts with suppliers etc

Putting the price up gives them movement to knock a bit off!

Few people are paying list price in the UK unless they are availing of the scrappage scheme.

If you were to be considering a Focus or an Astra and had list price in your pocket or, even better, were going to finance it through the dealership, Ford and GM would both give you a price beneath the previous list that they have abandoned to bring in these higher prices.

    Yep.

Different company but same situation, Sony have raised their prices (for camera equipment anyway) steadily since last Nov/Dec
